The American Geophysical Union is dedicated to advancing science and ensuring a sustainable future for all. In 2015, its thirty-year-old headquarters required upgrading and replacing all its systems. AGU seized the opportunity to leverage its headquarters renovation as a physical embodiment of the organization’s mission and the fight against climate change. The result is the first-ever net zero energy headquarter renovation in Washington, DC, and the greater Mid-Atlantic region.

Hotel Reservation Information

A discounted group block is available at the The Mayflower Hotel for the nights of Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6 at a rate of $279 (taxes and fees not included). Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is by 12:00 p.m.

While rooms remain available within the block, the deadline to reserve them is Friday, April 7.
