FIABCI Scholarship Foundation

The FIABCI Scholarship Foundation is an international initiative focused on supporting the future careers of our younger generation throughout the world. The Foundation is a nonprofit corporation to provide grants to students who demonstrate an interest in international real estate who are enrolled in a FIABCI member university. Funds have also been granted to member universities to further their international real estate education programs. The Foundation seeks qualified applicants from all FIABCI regions.

  • Grantees Spring 2017:

    Xiaokai Huang is pursuing a Doctorate in Urban and Real Estate Studies at Harvard. He is from Shanghai and upon graduation plans to set up an NGO to raise awareness of the issue of social equity in rapidly growing urban markets.

     

     

     

     

     

     
    Kelsey Padgham is working on a Masters in Real Estate Development at Cornell. She is originally from Indiana and wants to become a socially responsible residential developer working across national borders to bring affordable housing to constrained markets.

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Mamun Uz Zoha is seeking a Masters in Real Estate and the Built Environment from Harvard. He is originally from Bangladesh and has been working for Nikken Sekkei, a large design consultancy in Japan and plans to work on revitalizing old towns in Southeast Asia.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Jacqueline Calla is pursuing a Masters in Real Estate Development from NYU. She is from Peru and seeks to integrate building structure, design thinking, and construction with the most innovative and environmentally friendly methods possible.

     

     

     

     

     

    Yiwei Chen is working on a Masters in Urban Economics and Real Estate at Texas A&M. She is from Guangzhou and plans to become a real estate investment manager to help bring asset backed securitization instruments such as REITs and CMBSs to China.
